Samantha's seatbelt which has been cut to free her.
I have to tell you, Sammy was never big on seatbelts and would hardly ever wear them, so
finding this was important to me, I made a second trip to view the truck to find out if it had
been cut.
This tells me there was a point where she was terrified before the crash and during this
terror she had enough time to frantically find her seatbelt and fasten it.
Now Kellie's family has stated that Kellie was big on seatbelts and making sure her
passengers buckled up.....but really, at 3 times the legal limit....do you really think she had
the sense enough to remind Sammy to buckle up?
Sammy's Hair melted to the seat.
On my second trip to view the truck we removed all of her hair not wanting any piece of
Sammy left there
Samantha's seat. Samantha was seated in the front passenger side but on impact the floor
buckled forcing her seat to be pushed back and recline into the back seat...the floor
pinning her legs and feet between her seat and the buckled floor. Because she was
pinned, emergency crew were unable to extract her until the fire was extinguished. Kellie
however was pulled free quickly!
Now had it not been for the fire, Sammy would have survived with nothing more then a
dislocated ankle, fractured pelvis, ruptured disk and a good knock to the head.
